As my hours of visiting patients are NOT in the working hours, this practice is specifically suitable for those who are working and need taking care of memory, behavioral, or motor problems of themselves or their loved ones.
I, Dr. Oveisgharan, MD, am a neurologist and a full-time employee of Rush University Medical Center. As a faculty of Rush Alzheimer’s Disease Center and Rush Department of Neurological Sciences, my main duty is doing researches in the fields of Alzheimer’s disease, stroke, and related memory, cognitive, and motor problems. A a side job, I am running my personal virtual practice where I can visit my patients who will benefit from the followings.
1) They are visited by a neurologist who cares about them and listens to their problem.
2) They are visited out of working hours when the usual neurologists are not available.
3) They are visited by a neurologist aware of the latest developments in the field, reflected by approximately 100 publications, trying to include the developments in his practice.

I have been practicing neurology for more than a decade and visited many patients. The joy of seeing smile on patients’ face and the feel of being useful in alleviating patients’ hassles are the motives that persuade me working as a physician.
In addition, I am a scientist who has been involved in doing researches, writing papers, and reviewing others’ papers that publish in scientific journals. This career has provided me awareness of the latest findings in my fields of practice and helped me be a better doctor for my patients.
